PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a structure where the position of a ground contact approached the front end of the connector.SOLUTION: A connector 10 includes a ground member 100 connected with a shell 70. The ground member 100 is a separate body from the ground member 100, and has a ground spring 130, and a ground contact 180 for connection with a mating ground (not shown). The ground spring 130 has a first spring 140 extending rearward in the longitudinal direction, a second spring 150 extending laterally from the rear end of the first spring 140, and a third spring 160 extending forward in the longitudinal direction from the second spring 150. The ground contact 180 projects into a connection space 35 while being supported by the third spring 160. Position of the ground spring 130 in the longitudinal direction does not overlap the position of the contact 60 in the longitudinal direction. |
