发明名称 Polyester Fibres
摘要 1,157,433. Bicomponent polyester fibres. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. 3 Oct., 1966 [6 Oct., 1965], No. 42417/65. Heading B5B. A bicomponent melt-spun polyester fibre or filament is made by forming a composite sideby-side stream comprising two polyester components of the same chemical composition but of Intrinsic Viscosities differing by 10-60% of the average I.V. The filament is allowed to solidify and is then drawn 2-5 times. The two components in the drawn filament have different M.W. and have birefringences which differ by more than 0À005 and less than 0À030. The polyester may be polyethylene terephthalate. The two components may be extruded through a spinneret hole as a composite stream or extruded separately whereafter the two molten streams are combined. One or both components may contain delustrants, light stabilizers, fluorescent agents, or colouring matter. After drawing the filament may be allowed to relax. The fibres then exhibit substantial crimp which may be enhanced by a futher relaxation treatment carried out with or without heating.
