PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass production method that can increase the light extraction efficiency of an organic EL element even without forming a light extraction layer composed of a sintered body, and in addition that is excellent in the productivity.SOLUTION: The phase-split glass production method is characterized to include forming a phase-splitting glass having a refractive index nof 1.65 or more, and followed by heat-treating the obtained phase-splitting glass to produce a phase-split glass comprising at least a first phase and a second phase. |
