PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame for a vehicle in which the dimension of a weather strip holding part in a vehicle width direction is made to be larger than a conventional one.SOLUTION: A door frame includes: a cylindrical body part 10 extending along an extension direction of one side of a window frame of a vehicle door; a connection part 20 formed in a tabular shape extending to the cabin outer side from the body part 10; and a design surface part 30 having wall parts which are formed in a tabular shape extending to the window frame inner peripheral side and to the window frame outer peripheral side respectively from an end part of the cabin outer side of the connection part 20. The wall part facing the cabin outer side out of the wall parts for configuring the body part 10 has a protrusion 14a formed so as to protrude to the cabin outer side. The connection part 20 has overlapping parts which are molded so that portions of sheet metals are overlapped with each other. Out of the overlapping parts, an end part of the cabin inner side is laser-welded. The end part of the cabin inner side of the overlapping part is inclined with respect to the portion of the cabin outer side, so that laser beams can enter vertically with respect to a surface to be irradiated of the laser beams in the overlapping part without the laser beams interfering with the protrusion 14a and the design surface part 30. |
