A shroud hanger assembly (30) is provided for hangers (34) and shrouds (50) defining dimensionally incompatible components such as those which are press or frictionally fit to engage one another. The shroud hanger assembly (30) includes a multi-piece hanger (34) and a shroud (50) which is pinned to the hanger assembly (30) by at least one axially extending pin (70) and which locates the shroud relative to the hanger to control motion in one or both of circumferential (tangential) and radial directions relative to the engine.
