PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable bit-by-bit error detection without the loopback of a frame.SOLUTION: A communication device 100 includes a storage unit 101, a communication unit 102, a detection unit 103, etc. The storage unit 101 stores pattern definition information 150. The pattern definition information 150 is information which defines the pattern of a bit string which configures a specific frame type. The communication unit 102 receives a frame through a network. When the specific frame type is received by the communication unit 102, the detection unit 103 detects a bit error which is included in the frame received by the communication unit 102, on the basis of a comparison result between a pattern of the bit string which configures the frame received by the communication unit 102 and a pattern defined in the pattern definition information 150 stored in the storage unit 101. |
