PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply for welding, which can appropriately detect an output current value over a wide current range, to perform appropriate output control in the whole range.SOLUTION: A power supply 10 for the welding selects, when a welding torch having a large output specification among welding torches TH1-TH3 is used, a first current sensor ID1 having a specification of a wide detectable current range and coarse resolution, whereas, when a welding torch having a small output specification among the welding torches TH1-TH3 is used, selects a second current sensor ID2 having a specification of a narrow detectable current range and fine resolution, to perform output control (switching control of an inverter circuit 12) based on an output current value detected by each current sensor ID1, ID2. |
