An operating system (110), when data, with a certificate attached, for limiting the function to duplicate a screen is included, limits the function of the operating system itself, and, when the result of inspection of whether or not the included data is formal data is requested, replies to the request with the result of the inspection. An application (111) requests the result of inspection of the included data from the operating system (110) at startup or at return from a background process. When the replied result of inspection indicates that the data is not formal, the application (111) disables the display of a prescribed screen by a display control means, and indicates to the operating system that formal data be included. When the result of inspection indicates that the data is formal, the application (111) makes the display means display the prescribed screen. |
