The control method for the household appliance comprises the steps of: acquiring the current state of a household appliance (S102); judging whether a target terminal is connected to a target local area network (S104); if the current state is a standby state, according to the state of the target terminal, judging whether the household appliance satisfies an operating condition (S105); if the current state is an operating state, according to the state of the target terminal, judging whether the household appliance satisfies a standby condition (S106); if the household appliance satisfies the operating condition, controlling the household appliance to switch from the standby state to the operating state (S107); and if the household appliance satisfies the standby condition, controlling the household appliance to switch from the operating state to the standby state (S108). By means of the present invention, the problem in the prior art that the accuracy of controlling the household appliance to automatically power on and power off is relatively low is solved, thereby achieving the effect of improving the control accuracy of the household appliance. |
