<p>The present invention relates to the novel use of clopidogrel and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. More precisely, the invention relates to the use of clopidogrel and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof against benign prostatic hyperplasia. Specifically, the invention relates to clopidogrel and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts for use in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and to the use of clopidogrel and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition useful for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Further, the invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the use in the treatment of BPH, comprising clopidogrel or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts as active ingredient.</p> |
