POLYMER COMPOSITION COMPRISING POLYOLEFIN PRODUCED IN HIGH PRESSURE PROCESS, HIGH PRESSURE PROCESS AND ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyolefin suitable for wire or cable application.SOLUTION: A polymer composition comprising polyolefin produced in a high pressure process which has improved DC electrical properties that polyolefin in the polymer composition has an electric conductivity of 0.50x10S/m or less, preferably 0.40x10S/m or less, more preferably 0.38x10S/m or less when measured according to DC conductivity method using a polyolefin polymer tape sample in accordance with "Determination Methods". The high pressure process comprises the steps of: (a) compressing one or more monomers under pressure in a compressor, in which a compressor lubricant is used for lubrication; (b) polymerizing a monomer optionally together with one or more comonomers in a polymerization zone; and (c) separating the obtained polyolefin and recovering the separated polyolefin in a recovery zone. In the step (a), the compressor lubricant comprises a mineral oil.
