PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooking stove that becomes user-friendly by preventing an unnecessary reduction in caloric force from being caused by false detection of a flame by an ultraviolet sensor.SOLUTION: A gas cooking stove comprises flame excess state control parts 23a and 23b that perform control for reducing caloric force of cooking stove burners 2a and 2b when flame excess is detected from the peripheries of cooking containers Wa and Wb on the cooking stove burners 2a and 2b on the basis of output of ultraviolet sensors 18a and 18b getting a bird's eye view of the cooking stove burners 2a and 2b. The ultraviolet sensors 18a and 18b are provided with a cylindrical cover 21, and a screening body 22 for covering a side half part of a tip opening of the cover 21. |
