PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction device, a prediction method, and a computer program that are capable of improving prediction accuracy.SOLUTION: Calculation means is provided with: time difference identification means that identifies a time difference until a change in a plurality of factors is reflected in a change in a value relating to a prediction target event; derivation means that associates an item value of each of a plurality of items with a value relating to the event after a period corresponding to the time difference identified by the time difference identification means, and derives a factor effect value of the item value of each item relative to a change in the value relating to the event; and prediction means that predicts a prediction value relating to the event after the period corresponding to the time difference identified by the time difference identification means, from the item values of the plurality of items that are selected on the basis of the factor effect values derived by the derivation means. |
