PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a success rate of panning photograph, and to reduce a degree of technical difficulty of the panning photograph.SOLUTION: An image tremor correction device comprises: an image pickup element that photoelectrically converts a subject image formed by an optical system; first, second and third panning detection units that detect first, second and third panning photographs on the basis of detection results of the first, second and third panning detection units; an image tremor-amount calculation unit that detects first, second and third amounts of image tremor on the basis of detection results of first, second and third angular velocity detection units; a first image tremor correction unit that moves the optical system or image pickup element in a direction where the first and second amounts of image tremor are cancelled out; and a third image tremor correction unit that moves the image pickup element in a direction where the third amount of image tremor is cancelled out. When the third panning photograph is detected, and when the first panning photograph is detected or the second panning photograph is detected, the second image tremor correction unit is configured to move the image pickup element. |
