PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight control device which properly controls lighting of a headlight according to a situation of a peripheral area and prevents annoyance caused by the lighting of the headlight.SOLUTION: A headlight control device 1 controls a lighting state of a headlight 10 which radiates light to the front side of a vehicle and includes: an illuminance sensor 21 which detects illuminance of a peripheral area of the vehicle; a lighting control part 31 which turns on or off the headlight 10 according to the illuminance detected by the illuminance sensor 21; a front side detection sensor 22 which detects an object existing in a predetermined distance at the front side of the vehicle; and a dim control part 32 which dims the headlight 10 in a case that the object is detected by the front side detection sensor 22 when the vehicle is started. |
