PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite beam capable of reducing a floor height to a predetermined effective ceiling height, and capable of also reducing cost by reducing a steel frame quantity by a rational structure.SOLUTION: A composite beam is provided by integrating a floor slab 3 into a steel frame beam 2 having both end parts 4 rigidly joined to a column 1, and the steel frame beam 2 is formed smaller in a beam height of a central part 5 than both end parts 4, and the floor slab 3 is integrated with the steel frame beam 2 by installing so that its undersurface level 3b becomes an upper surface of an upper flange 5a of the central part 5 and its upper surface level 3a also becomes an upper surface of an upper flange 2a of both end parts 4 or an upper surface of a refractory 8 constructed on the upper surface. |
