A document file with three compartments is formed by folding a blank 5<SP>1</SP> into four, along perpendicular fold lines 6, (6<SP>1</SP>), 7, 71 so that sheets 3, 4 lie on sheets 2 and 1 and then 2 and 3 are folded over sheets 1 and 4, the sheet 1 having a fold strip 9 formed by a cut-out from sheet 4 and which is welded to the top cover 2. If required a further fold strip 20 maybe provided so the compartments are each sealed on three sides. The welding of strip 9 to the cover 2 may be along two parallel lines 25 to form an insert pocket 12<SP>1</SP> for an index strip. The fold 20 may be similarly formed. To provide extra compartments inserts 26 are placed on the sheets 2, 1 before the fold along line 6 is made. |
