[Problem] To provide a chuck device that has a simple structure and that can be reliably locked. [Solution] A chuck device (1) that is provided with: a plurality of balls (41); a retainer (42) that rotatably holds the balls (41); a spring ring (34) that rotates together with a nut ring (33) and that is configured so as to be switchable between a rotation restriction state in which a loosening direction (L) with respect to the retainer (42) is restricted and a restriction release state in which the restriction of the loosening direction (L) with respect to the retainer (42) is released; and a one-way spring (31) that restricts the loosening direction (L) of the retainer (42) with respect to a chuck body (11). A one-way bearing mechanism (50) in which the loosening direction (L) is restricted between the nut ring (33) and the chuck body (11) is configured using the plurality of balls (41), the retainer (42), and the one-way spring (31), and a bearing and lock mechanism (30) is configured using the retainer (42) while in the rotation restriction state. |
