The present invention is provided with a control means that uses a clutch in a continued washing clutch mode following a washing operation, and rotates an agitator in an operation mode different than the abovementioned washing operation and executes a disentangling operation in which a water drainage valve is open. The control means closes the water drainage valve during a portion of the period in which the disentangling operation is being executed.
