Disclosed are a method and apparatus for generating a database dictionary of Word documents, the method comprising: establishing a connection with a service application system database comprising a database dictionary in which Word documents need to be updated (S101), and then automatically updating the database dictionary of the service application system database by executing preset structured query language sql statements supporting query for the service application system database (S102). A connection with the service application system database requiring generation of the database dictionary of Word documents is established and then the database dictionary of Word documents in the service application system database is automatically updated by executing preset sql statements, so that database developers can be relieved from laborious work of synchronization of the database dictionary of Word documents. |
