A vehicle seat (1) is provided with the following: a seat cushion (2); a seatback (3) that is disposed on one end of the seat cushion (2), that can be kept in an upright position with respect to the seat cushion (2), and that can be folded forward over the seat cushion (2); a headrest (4) that is disposed at the top of the seatback (3), that can move up and down, and that can be held at an appropriate position; and a forward-folding mechanism (Q) that has a function for holding the seatback in the upright position and folding the seatback forward. The forward-folding mechanism (Q) is configured so as to be able to fold the seatback (3) forward by causing the headrest (4) to move to a lower position. |
