PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which can achieve both improvement in temporal resolution and improvement in spatial resolution.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises a reception part 12, a correction part 132, a synthesis part 133 and an image generation part 16. The reception part 12 outputs a plurality of reception signals corresponding to a plurality of reception scan lines respectively for each transmission and reception of an ultrasonic wave by an ultrasonic probe 1. The correction part 132 outputs a processed signal for each reception scan line by executing weighting processing and phase correction processing in accordance with the position of the reception scan line with respect to the plurality of reception signals or at least one of the plurality of signals on the basis of the plurality of reception signals. The synthesis part 133 outputs a plurality of composite signals using the plurality of processed signals output by the correction part 132 in accordance with transmission and reception of the ultrasonic wave before and after the change in the acoustic field of the transmitted ultrasonic wave and before and after the change in the positions of the plurality of reception scan lines. The image generation part 16 generates image data on the basis of the plurality of composite signals output by the synthesis part 133.
