Provided is a method for producing a multi-component copolymer which is formed from a conjugated diene, a non-conjugated olefin and an aromatic vinyl. A method for producing a multi-component copolymer, which is characterized by comprising a step for polymerizing a conjugated diene compound, a non-conjugated olefin compound and an aromatic vinyl compound in the presence of a polymerization catalyst composition that contains at least one complex selected from the group consisting of metallocene complexes represented by general formula (I) and the like. (In the formula, M represents a lanthanoid element, scandium or yttrium; each CpR independently represents a substituted indenyl group; each of Ra-Rf independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-3 carbon atoms; L represents a neutral Lewis base; and w represents an integer of 0-3.) |
