Provided is a highly reliable bag-making and packaging machine which has a simple configuration and is capable of making make bags of various sizes, and which can suppress the occurrence of malfunctions such as meandering of film. This bag-making and packaging machine is provided with a shaping mechanism (20) for bending a strip of film such that a left end and a right end overlap, thus shaping a cylindrical film. The shaping mechanism has a main body (21) and an overlap formation section (50). The main body has bending edges (31, 41) and curved surface formation sections (32, 42). The curved surface formation sections are arranged on an upstream side of a conveyance direction of the strip of film relative to the bending edges which bend the strip of film to shape the cylindrical film, and guide the strip of film toward the bending edges. The overlap formation section is a separate member from the main body, and nips a part of the cylindrical film shaped into a cylinder by being bent with the bending edges, to form an overlap portion of the cylindrical film. The main body is divided into a left main body (30) and a right main body (40) and is configured so as to allow for adjustment of the positions of the left main body and right main body in the left-right direction. |
