PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to suppress a temperature rise in a secondary battery.SOLUTION: The secondary battery includes an electrode body, a case, a positive electrode collector member, and a negative electrode collector member. The electrode body is formed by laminating a positive electrode sheet and a negative electrode sheet in multiple layers with interposing a separator in-between. The case houses the electrode body. The positive electrode collector member and the negative electrode collector member, in the case, are welded to both ends of the electrode body respectively and electrically connected to terminals exposed to outside the case. And, in the secondary battery, an electrolyte is stored in a space between inside the case and the electrode body. In addition to this, at least either one of a welded portion between the positive electrode collector member and the electrode body or a welded portion between the negative electrode collector member and the electrode body is submerged in the electrolyte. |
