PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparator in which offset can be adjusted without lowering the working speed.SOLUTION: A comparator includes an input stage circuit which brings two voltage signals into a first voltage state in a first operational state, and changing two voltage signals from a first voltage state to a second voltage state at the speeds different from each other depending on the difference of the voltage level of two input signals in a second operational state, a latch stage circuit including two field effect transistors provided, respectively, between two output nodes and a node of a predetermined potential, and receiving two voltage signals at respective control ends, and two inverters cross-coupled between two output nodes and becoming nonactive state in the first operational state, and active state in the second operational state, and a control circuit for controlling the current supply capability in two paths for applying a drive voltage separately to the two inverters. In at least a part of the second operational state, the current supply capability in two paths is differentiated from each other. |
