A drying apparatus, according to the present invention, comprises: a drying chamber that includes an inlet through which an object to be dried is fed, an agitator that agitates and breaks up the object to be dried, and an outlet through which the dried object is ejected; a heating means installed in the interior of the drying chamber to radiate heat; a combustion tube that has an empty space formed therein and surrounds the heating means, wherein the combustion tube is heated by the heating means and heats the object to be dried by using the radiant heat; a combustion space where organic matter of the drying chamber is introduced and thermally decomposed, the combustion space being formed between the heating means and the combustion tube; a connecting tube that connects the drying chamber and the combustion space to enable gas to flow therebetween and functions as a passage through which gas that contains the organic matter in the drying chamber is introduced into the combustion space; a blower connected to the connecting tube to suck the gas in the drying chamber by generating an air pressure difference and to exhaust the gas again in order to feed the gas into the combustion space; and a condenser that makes condensed water by cooling vapor contained in the gas that moves to the combustion space. |
