An air conditioner (1) is provided with: a support plate (7) that is brought into contact with and fixed to a wall surface (W) to which the air conditioner (1) is to be fixed, and that supports a casing (2) from the back surface side thereof, with the reverse surface of the surface of the support plate (7) in contact with the wall surface (W) separated from the back surface of the casing (2); and a back-surface-side air intake port (5) that is on the back surface of the casing (2) and draws in indoor air from a space formed between the wall surface (W) and the back surface of the casing (2). |
