According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method and a device for embodying a virtual button through a camera can provide a user interface with various environments which is convenient for a user by including not only a touch screen but also a camera lens area as an application operation interface for touch recognition. Particularly, computation load on a CPU can be minimized by analyzing only pixel data on a portion of the area among pixel data obtained through the camera, and determining whether a user recognizes the camera button. As a result, the reaction speed of operation through the camera button and the operation received from the touch screen may be almost the same, so the convenience of the user interface with respect to use of the application can be enhanced. |
