PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ease-of-use of a multi-joint arm shape measuring instrument without losing accuracy.SOLUTION: A multi-joint arm shape measuring instrument having a plurality of probes (a contact type probe 30 and a laser probe 34) mounted to a tip of a multi-joint mechanism 10, and adapted so as to selectively use the probes according to a measurement object portion comprises: a probe rotation holding mechanism (a ratchet mechanism 50 and a click lock mechanism 70) that rotatably holds other probe (34) around one probe (30), and allows a rotation position to be made stationary at a plurality of positions. |
