摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform automatic restoration of a microprocessor with hardware by monitoring the operation state of the microprocessor, and quickly detecting temporary failure occurrence for improving the operation rate.SOLUTION: The microprocessor automatic restoration system includes: a microprocessor 1; a monitoring control part 2 for performing the monitoring control of the operation; and a power supply part 3 for a microprocessor for turning on/off power supply to the microprocessor. The monitoring control part 2 has a hardware configuration constituted of: a register 21; a monitoring detection part 22 for performing the monitoring detection of a signal to the register; and a watch dog timer 23 for operating with an output from the monitoring detection part. The watch dog timer 23 outputs an interruption signal 25 to the microprocessor when access from the microprocessor to the register is not performed within a fixed time, and then outputs a reset signal 26 to the microprocessor, and outputs a power supply OFF signal 27 to the power supply part 3 for the microprocessor, and performs the automatic restoration of the temporary failure of the microprocessor 1 by processing based on the outputs 25, 26, and 27.
