PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique causing various work to be efficiently performed by a user by causing a virtual image corresponding to a specific mark to be visually identified by the user.SOLUTION: A head-mounted type display device comprises: an image display section causing an outside scene to be visually identified by a user while causing image light to be visually identified by the user as a virtual image on the basis of image data in a state of the head-mounted type display device being mounted to a head of the user; an imaging section capturing the outside scene; and a control section causing a specific virtual image associated with combination of a kind of a mark image and a shape of the mark image to be visually identified by the user by using the image display section when the mark image being an image of a specific mark is included in a captured image captured.
