A transducer includes an element disposed on a substrate, where the element includes an electrode, and a connection electrode electrically connected to the electrode of the element. A conductive portion disposed on an insulating film of a flexible print circuit board is electrically connected to the connection electrode. Part of the conductive portion is exposed so as to face a surface of the substrate having the element disposed thereon. An insulation layer is disposed on part of the surface of the substrate facing the flexible print circuit board.

1. A transducer comprising:
a substrate; a cell including a vibrating membrane and a second electrode, the vibrating membrane including a first electrode, the second electrode being disposed on the substrate with a spacing from the first electrode; a connection electrode disposed on a surface of the substrate having the cell disposed thereon, the connection electrode being electrically connected to one of the first and second electrodes; and a flexible print circuit board including an insulating film and a conductive portion disposed on the insulating film, the conductive portion being electrically connected to the connection electrode, wherein part of the conductive portion is exposed to face an upper surface of the substrate having the cell disposed thereon, and wherein an insulation layer is disposed on part of the upper surface of the substrate facing the flexible print circuit board.
