<p>There is provided an inflatable tunnel plug (20) comprising a first inflatable portion (24) and a second inflatable portion (26) that is inflatable to support the first inflatable portion (26) against an interior surface (11, 12, 14, 16) of the tunnel. The first inflatable portion (24) inflates to a lower pressure than the second inflatable portion (26). There is also provided a composite tunnel plug (50, 100). The composite tunnel plug comprises a first inflatable tunnel plug for blocking the tunnel and a second inflatable tunnel plug for blocking the tunnel. The top ends (TE) of the first and second inflatable tunnel plugs adjoin one another and the bottom ends (BE) of the first and second inflatable tunnel plugs are spaced apart from one another in a length direction (LD) of the composite tunnel plug when the composite tunnel plug is deployed.</p> |
