PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image data for adjusting an image formation operation, an image forming apparatus, and a method of adjusting an image formation operation with which the positional relationship between ends of a sheet and an evaluation mark can be accurately understood, and time and effort in image adjustment work can be reduced.SOLUTION: An image for adjustment formed on the basis of image data for adjusting an image formation operation has, formed thereon, evaluation marks 1 formed in the vicinity of four corners of the front face of a sheet P, and sheet end detection marks 2 formed at four points on the rear face of the sheet P for detecting, with a scanner, ends of the sheet in the longitudinal direction and ends in the width direction at the corners of the sheet. The sheet end detection marks 2 are formed such that when areas of the sheet P including the positions at which the evaluation marks 1 are formed are folded to the rear face side along folding lines 3 to be within a scan range of the scanner, the ends of the sheet P come above the sheet end detection marks 2. |
