PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing a rolling mill, which can shorten a manufacturing line down period associated with installation of the rolling mill.SOLUTION: A method for installing a rolling mill includes: an assembly step (S102) of assembling a housing unit 1 of the rolling mill comprising head plates 12a and 12b, housings 10a and 10b and a separator 11, in a place except a rolling mill installation location 8; a conveyance step (S104) of conveying the housing unit 1 to the rolling mill installation location 8; and an installation step (S106) of installing the housing unit 1 in the rolling mill installation location 8. |
