PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and information processing method which can extract information about a specific route from one user or plural users automatically and show the information to users.SOLUTION: A measurement part measures a current position and an acceleration of one user. An estimation part estimates a traveling state of the user on the basis of the acceleration and estimates route information of a route that the user now utilizes or may utilize on the basis of the current position and the traveling state. A extract part extracts one or plural speech information about the route from a server on the basis of the route information. A display part displays the extracted speech information.
