The present invention pertains to a glass-fiber-production bushing equipped with a base plate and a plurality of nozzles for discharging molten glass, and obtained by joining a nozzle group, which comprises the plurality of nozzles arranged in rows, to the base plate, the glass-fiber-production bushing being characterized in that the nozzles making up one or more nozzle rows of the nozzle rows constituting the outermost layer of the nozzle group are plugged from the tip end thereof to a depth of at least 1/2 the nozzle length. Herein, the plugged nozzles are preferably plugged along the entire nozzle length, and specifically, it is preferable for the plugged nozzles to be solid bodies. A glass-fiber-production bushing plate according to the present invention makes long-term, stable discharge of a uniform glass flow possible. |
