A sound effect producing device (1) mounted on a vehicle for providing a person on board the vehicle with information via a sound effect is provided with a plurality of speakers (SP) as a sound effect output source, and a control unit (10) that generates a frequency signal for causing each of the plurality of speakers (SP) to output the sound effect. When a piece of information to be transmitted to the person on board the vehicle is transmitted via the sound effect from the plurality of speakers (SP), the control unit (10) varies the frequency of the frequency signal, the sound pressure of the sound effect, or the timing of output of the frequency signal to the speakers (SP) among the plurality of speakers (SP). |
