The present disclosure pertains to an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program which make it possible to correct the distortion which occurs in a frame and is caused by a rolling shutter to a level suitable for viewing appreciation. An image processing device for correcting the distortion produced in one frame constituting part of a moving image, and according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, is equipped with: a first detection unit for detecting a distorted high-frequency component which is the high-frequency component of the distortion of the frame; a second detection unit for detecting a distorted low-frequency component which is the low-frequency component of the distortion of the frame; a correction-amount determination unit for determining the amount of correction for the distorted high-frequency component; and a correction unit for correcting the distorted low-frequency component occurring in the frame on the basis of the detected distorted low-frequency component, and correcting the distorted high-frequency component occurring in the frame according to the determined correction amount. The present disclosure can be used, for example, in a video camera having a CMOS sensor mounted therein. |
