The present disclosure describes an electrode band having an essentially strip-shaped flexible body (11). The length of the flexible body (11) is greater than the width of the flexible body (11). The electrode band comprises a positive electrode (12), a negative electrode (13) and a ground electrode (14). The electrodes are arranged such that the length of each electrode is greater than the width of the electrode. The electrodes extend lengthwise essentially in the direction of the length of the flexible body (11), and are in a widthwise row.
