Provided is a print coating apparatus (1), which is capable of evenly adhering a transfer liquid such as a coating liquid (L) or an ink onto a web (W) when transferring the transfer liquid onto the web, and is capable of effectively utilizing the space around a chamber (4). To be specific, a portion of a gravure roll (3) is immersed in a coating liquid (L) that collects in a liquid-collecting section (4a) of a chamber (4). The two ends of the chamber (4) in the longitudinal direction are supported by a pair of support mechanisms (5) and midway in the longitudinal direction of the chamber (4), a pressing means (12) for limiting the bending of the chamber (4) towards the non-gravure roll (3)-side is provided.
