The present invention relates to a washing machine and, more specifically, to a washing machine comprising: a tub included inside a cabinet; a drum included inside the tub to be able to rotate; and a balancing unit included in the drum and capable moving while moving relatively with respect to the drum to reduce the eccentricity of the drum, wherein the balancing unit can be controlled actively. Also, the balancing unit includes: a body for forming the appearance of the balancing unit; a first mass body at one side in the widthwise direction of the body inside the body; and a first wheel arranged at the other side in the widthwise direction of the body to face the first mass body and formed to roll in a balancer housing. An elastic member can be installed between the first mass body and the fist wheel to fix the body of the balancing unit to a predetermined position in the balancer housing by pushing the first mass body and the first wheel to both sides in the widthwise direction of the body. |
