PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: a wiring of a detection electrode formed of an ITO film has high resistance and the detection performance of the detection electrode decreases as the size and definition of the detection electrode increase.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a display device includes the steps of: (a) encapsulating liquid crystal between an array substrate and an opposing substrate; (b) forming a metal layer and a low reflection layer on the opposing substrate after the step (a); (c) applying an overcoat film on the metal layer and the low reflection layer; and (d) curing the overcoat film to form a protective layer. In the step (d), the overcoat film is cured by light and heat.
