PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from feeling discomfort even when a printer becomes the unprintable state in an image content display system which displays image content such as an advertisement on a display device and can print image information relevant to the image content.SOLUTION: A display control device 3 determines whether or not a printer 4 is in a printable state on the basis of a status response from the printer 4, displays image content A1 in a first content group with printable information suggesting a user that printing is possible incorporated in an image (Q21) when the printer is in the printable state, and changes the display over to image content B2 in a second content group with a printable message not incorporated after the elapse of the display schedule time of the image content A1 when it turns out that the printer is in the unprintable state during display of the image content A1 in the first content group (Q22).
