PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation having improved solubility of mometasone.SOLUTION: Oil-in-water emulsion contains mometasone or, pharmaceutically acceptable derivative (e.g., mometasone furoate) thereof, and propylene glycol, in which concentration of propylene glycol is 20 to about 45%W/W. Oil-in-water emulsion exists in a mode of fine powder of a mode where mometasone is not dissolved. Oil-in-water emulsion preferably has a weight ratio between propylene glycol and water at 1:1 to about 1:3. More preferably, oil-in-water emulsion contains emulsifier having HLB of about 11 to about 20, such as glycerol alkyl ester and macrogol alkyl ester, and furthermore, contains emulsifier having HLB of about 3 to about 11. |
