PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfur-containing polymer having excellent uniformity and solubility in organic solvent with a high sulfur content in order to obtain a novel organic sulfur material with elasticity and solubility.SOLUTION: A sulfur-containing polymer is obtained by mixing and heating a diallyl compound represented by the formula (where n1 and n3 independently represent an integer of 0-19, and n2 is an integer of 1-10), and molecular sulfur (S).
