a first component comprising a support structure and a sheet-like flexible material disposed on the support structure and held taut between supports; and a second component comprising a protrusion that contacts and deforms the sheet-like flexible material from a relaxed configuration to a deformed configuration to create a zero-gap joint between the first and second components; wherein the first and second components cooperate to permit deformation of at least one of the first and second components or the sheet-like flexible material during overslam of a vehicle door and thereafter to return to a non-overslam condition. |
