This heating cooker is equipped with a box-shaped main body case (10) that is open on the top, a top plate section (20) that covers the top opening of the main body case (10) in a manner such that an object to be heated can be placed thereon, heating means (64) disposed below the top plate section (20), openings (31) that are disposed to the rear of the top plate section (20) in order to discharge cooling air that is used for cooling components provided inside the main body case (10), and a cover (41) that covers the openings (31). The cover (41) is formed into an eave-like shape wherein the cover extends in a longitudinal direction while the front end part (41b) thereof, which is on the side where the object to be heated is placed, has a bottom surface which is in contact with the top plate section (20) side in an orthogonal direction to the longitudinal direction, and the rear end side (41c) thereof, which extends rearward and upward from the front end part (41b), is left open.
