Disclosed are a network printing control method and system, a printer and a network server. The network printing control method comprises: sending, by a printer, request data to a network server, wherein the request data comprises a network service identifier, the network service identifier is an identifier of a network service subject to which the printer belongs, and the printer requests the network server to query an entry to be printed of the printer by sending the request data; receiving, by the printer, request response data returned by the network server; parsing, by the printer, the request response data to obtain printing data of the entry to be printed; and printing, by the printer, the printing data of the entry to be printed. By means of the present invention, the device costs of a network printing system can be reduced.
